Anybody else have eye problems

recently my eyes have been feeling really tight, like a lot of pressure inside them, but I have perfect eyesight. could this be some type of glaucoma ? it runs in my family.

any pain/redness/tears/headache/how long has this been going on?
what runs in your family? glaucoma?
Go see a doctor loss of vision is not a first sign (nerve damage takes a long time).

It's incredibly unlikely that you have glaucoma - it is more common if you have it in the family but you are probably way too young - its very rare if you are under 40.

You won't feel it either - most glaucoma is completely insidious - which is the problem. Unless you have regular eye examinations (2 yearly is probably enough for now) it is often too late when it's detected. If you have symptoms then it's really advanced.

Your eye pressure has to be really high for you to feel it - and that is the rare and very painful type
of glaucoma.

It's much more likely that you just have dry eyes or something. You want to see an optometrist first and they'll refer you to an ophthalmologist only if necessary.

I would def go to the eye doctor (optometrist). Nothings worth losing your vision over..

Optometrist? This ain't your first pair of 7th grade glasses. See your normal doctor and ask him or her to recommend you a good Opthomoligist and you should be good. They'll probably give you Ofloxacin or maybe even prednisolone drops if the pressure is bad enough..

Go to the eye doctor. The same thing was happening to me except my eyes were also blood shot ALL the time. They gave me some ointment to put on them before bed, and now its gone.

On topic I've been wearing glasses for a while now but I dont wear them to work and I feel like my vision has improved. Stuff that might have been blurry from a certain distance is no longer blurry and I dont get irritation from starting at the screen too long which is basically what I do all day.
