So I fractured my toe doing by running into a door

. I have to go see a bone doctor in the next couple of days. Got me in this %%+$%%@ lookin shoe at the moment.

I can walk just fine so I will be highly pissed if they put me in a cast and give me crutches.

So does anybody have an idea what they are gonna do?

I think my dad had his toes on a splint when he broke his toes before.

Worse case scenario - surgery.

the bones in your toe are to small for surgery...

if you have insurance go to the doctors... if not.. don't waste your money

all they are going to do is tape your toe to the other toe... the buddy tie? something like that. and it will heal by itself in 6 weeks

How did that happen?

You shouldn't even waste time going to the doctor, they don't do anything for broken toes. Unless it's your big toe, then they might cast it.

cast most probably, just so it heals properly and doesn't end up crooked.Look where you're going next time will you?

Orthopedic surgeons and podiatrists diagnose and treat toe problems.....go see one dude. The last thing you want is to end up with painful chronic toe issue.
