One time, I locked my keys in my car at walmart.
Short story even shorter, I got turned down by 8 ppl before I finally got a ride to my house. Which wasn't that far away.
Given that experience, I don't think hitchhiling would go well for me.

I think you could. Best bet would be to start at a place where truck drivers rest/eat. Show them
you're not crazy and they'd probably appreciate just having someone to talk to.

To sketchy for me, the only time I have hitchhiked is from the town below a ski resort up to it so I could snowboard down one long *** leg burner to close the day.
