Don't overcook it. Get the water boiling, add a little bit of salt and olive oil, then dump the pasta in for maybe 8 or so minutes, to where it's in between being crunchy and soft. "Al dente" is the term if you want to look it up. I prefer bow-tie pasta. I like hot-links for the meat. If you have a Top Dog around you, buy theirs. Pick your favorite spaghetti sauce, add some, but not too many, fresh onions, bellpeppers, and tomatoes, cut small'@%@, and you have yourself a good meal.
