Anybody Got Tips for Making Pasta?

last few times i made it it turned out pretty average.
anything goes, anytype, anysauce, etc etc
 
There are a million different things you can do with pasta. You have to give some sort of idea what you're looking for.

true. but honestly man, i dont even care. what ever's good. umm tomato sauce? seafood? idk
 
Don't overcook it. Get the water boiling, add a little bit of salt and olive oil, then dump the pasta in for maybe 8 or so minutes, to where it's inbetween being crunchy and soft. "Al dente" is the term if you want to look it up. I prefer bow-tie pasta. I like hot-links for the meat. If you havea Top Dog around you, buy theirs. Pick your favorite spaghetti sauce, add some, but not too many, fresh onions, bellpeppers, and tomatoes, cut small'@%@,and you have yourself a good meal.

bingo. hot-links are good. if not, strips of chicken breast are

One of my favorites to make is fettucini alfredo with perciutto and arugula. Takes like a half hour to make and is good as hell. The ingredients are a bitexpensive, but its worth it.
