anyone else find themselves constantly disappointed by people?

i'm far from depressed or even angry.. i just feel exhausted at this point. for the last couple months, i've been feeling like nobody ever lives up to their hype and always ends up disappointing me, regardless of how grand or minute their purpose is. everything from my college counselor messing up my applications to my main chick completely switching up and everything in between. as sad as it seems, this has me feeling like the only way to go through life is by expecting absolutely nothing from people, leaving no room for disappointment. just thought i'd share that real quick.
