I avoid them whenever I can.

And I cannot fathom why people pay so much money for "the ____ suite" etc.

Renting a house/apt >> hotel room IMO. Way better.

There is absolutely nothing I like about hotel rooms no matter how nice, and the more expensive ones just seem a little bigger, way gaudier, and way moreoverpriced.

Anyone else feel the same?

i went to miami for a week and stayed in a suite just cuz, 3 tv's, living room dining room, was dope.

on the beach at night ftw

i was on stumbleupon.com and i saw some list of the 10 most expensive hotel rooms.....and maybe 2 even looked appealing.

i swear i hate them more than anyone, i'd rather pay to stay in a house than get a free suite at the four seasons.

and vegas hotels are the worst

In my experience, I've never really had the option to rent a house or apartment than stay in a hotel.

Usually when I'm in a hotel it's because I'm traveling, when I travel, I rarely spend time in the room so it isn't as big of a deal.

However it's generally not the most comfortable feelings, never sit on the comfoters since they NEVER wash them, tons of people using the same space as youover and over... I can see why it's not the most pleasant of experiences.

I recently stayed at the Marriott is Philly, it was one of the best beds I ever slept in......

^^QFT..I went to philly last year and stayed at the Marriott also. Which 1 were you at?

I stayed at the Opryland Hotel over the weekend and it was incredibly nice. I had no complaints at all.

I love hotels. I'll get a nice one some weekends just to get away

Hmmm I think it was by Market Street, it's near one of the Drexel schools. The Med school maybe. It was only for one night, helped my sister move into herapartment.
