your music being too loud?
The messed up thing is I got the ticket on my birthday, and I don't even have a system, everything is stock. I have a 02 accord, and the stereo doesn'teven get that loud in the first place, AND it was only up a little past halfway.
My reason for asking is I want to know how much this ticket costs. If its over $50, I'm gonna fight it.
Here's the story for those of you who are curious as to what happened.
I was stopped at a red light...there was a car to my right, and then the sheriff right behind him. I see the sheriff and I turn the volume down a little bit tohalfway...now it wasn't even much above half. The light turns green and I proceed. The sheriff then pulls up next to me while driving and says "hey, turn down your music a little bit," I say "I already did, and then I turned it ALL the way down." Then we keep driving and he pulls up next tome again and says "you know what, just pull over." I pull over and he comes to my window and says "I made you pull over because you didn'tturn your music down when I told you, and I could hear it 50 ft. away." I said "first of all it wasn't even that loud to begin with, second ofall, my stereo is completely stock, third of all, its my birthday and I'm just enjoying life today." He doesn't act like he's listening thenproceeds to his car and writes the ticket. He comes back, tells me to sign the ticket (I just wanted him to get outta my face cuz I didn't want myself todo anything stupid.) so I sign the ticket, he gives it to me and I say "ill see you in court BUDDY" then rolled up my window and bounced.
I wanna fight it for the hell of it, but if its like $50 or under, Ill just pay that $+$# and move on, but I highly doubt it'll be $50 or less.
