Anyone done/doing this? How was is/was it?
I'm thinking about dumping my car for the bus. I live in the county, but it's real close to the city so the bus runs all up and down my street. Plus walking to work would take 15-20 minutes. I'll have to take a little hit with the negative equity if I sell my car. But between my car note, insurance, and gas I'd save an extra $800 month and in a year or so could probably buy a car in cash.
