Rather than throw away all the useless e-stuff I get laying around I decided to recycle them. I google'd on how to but it seems companies want money unlessit's their stuff to recycle

There a place I can just drop itoff? I thought companies would want electronics for free.

I've gone to a specialty recycling center to recycle my microwave that wasn't working anymore. I didn't want to just toss it out and ruin theenvironment. Google electronic recycler in your area, there is bound to be somewhere that will take your old electronics.

You can donate your old phone at your service stores. Verizon helps beaten wives every time you donate an unused phone...

I came up with a tag line for them:

Every old phone is one less punch.

Yeah, that's where I go. They have containers for trash and then a separate one where electronics are recycled and furniture is reused.

People throw a ton of useful stuff away too - and they have rules that you're not allowed to take stuff from the containers - and the city employees areall fascists. I was there last weekend and there were 2 sets of golf clubs sitting on the top of one pile of trash.

I've seen the staff "rescuing" bikes and stuff though - pretty sure it all goes home with them.
