Anyone ever went to jail/got arrested for engaging in fisticuffs?

Of course I'm not talking about a random act of violence, but if you and someone else agrees to go out back and throw the hands to settle a dispute, could you get arrested/jailed for that?

Exactly how does this work?

if i recall it was a fistfight and at the end he just picked a bottle and smashed dude upside the head. think he wouldve avoided time if it was just throwing hands

Bruh in this day and age i am avoiding this at all cost. 

If you win the fight and he is seriously injured enjoy going to court.  Even if you win the court case...enjoy the lawyer fees.

You lose the fight enjoy the hospital bills

There are some many negatives that can come out of this.  Just do what everyone else does and throw shots on social networks claim if you two ever fought that other dude would get that work.  Then after like 2 months everyone forgets about it and its nothing.

Assuming you all just got thrown in the drunk tank?  If it wasn't the weekend you'd prob have been out the next day when you were sober.

From experience they dont lock you up because you got into a fight out here they try to get you on other things when you get into a fight like intent or posession or other petty misdeminors
