I woked Loss Prevention at Macy's and from the sound of it that was alot better then that type of security work you about to be doing.

I had the best security job

though my experience may be different from yours

i worked the graveyard shift at a big warehouse, it was just me and this one dude who would just play video games and walk around..

also had a b-ball hoop when people returned them

no offense to anybody cuz ive done this before like already stated but its a real dead end job i dunno how people do this for a living an i know many securityguards want to think they are more important than they really are.

edit:

guard card is not the same as ARMED guard thats a different process

and only reason states do guard cards now is because the security field was so unregulated, so now..............you in the system if youre a guard. FBI checketc.

It was some of the easiest money I ever made in my life.

I used to OD...like badly...i used to work overnights because i hate dealing with people sometimes. 12-8 am....

I used to watch The Wire, X-Men, Justice LEague...all types of cartoons and #!%..i even used to watch porn @ work....no one bothered me really and no onechecked up on me...

it's good to have your license becuase it's god side money for bills or what have you.

I'm working overnight and it seems like those are the shifts that are getting better feedback on here.

i was talking to my moms about getting that armed guard liscense. i'm down with it but it costs 92 bucks a month and i don't wanna end up being the guyin the armored truck in the movie heat. that armored truck they robbed in Philly was a Securitas subsidiary and those two dudes got murked. i have heard themoney is real good though and I wouldn't mind getting to carry a gun for a living. mind you i'm only 21 turning 22 on the day i start working, and igot this job b/c i gotta work since i'm not in school this semester. I figure i can grind out now and when school roles around go to class during the dayand work the graveyard/study. i've done that before working at a library though that was a more relaxed atmosphere. weed + energy drinks + books + internetFTW. i honestly don't feel the need for a social life as of now, since i'm really trying to stack my cake and get my Mayer Rothschild on i.e. bum itout with lots of money in the bank.

yea it is easy money especially my job all we do is stand at 4 different post for about 40 mins each and check ids/count how many people walked in with theclicker

i just got off from work a min ago.

i get 10 an hour. in NY i hear they make bout 13-15
