Anyone get a job off craigslist?

I'm looking for another part-time job.
So i got this e-mail back from where i asked about the job, does it seem legit?


Good Morning ,

Thanks for responding to the driver  job ad posted on craigslist .  Me and my wife  are relocating to Los Angeles , CA  from London United Kingdom to do some contract basis with Environmental Protection Agency on a private research work with minimum a year contract with possibility of extending the contract in future.

However, we need someone who will help us with driving position ,  take  us to  work and from work to house , someone that will also help in running some errands, also my  wife who's 3 months pregnant and this is her first baby that is why we need a reliable person. we will be paying for the gas .

We will be offering you an amount of $400.00 weekly. We will need your services 5 times a week  from monday to friday , 4 hours a day 8am to 12pm . If you believe you are fit for this position, in as much you can prove yourself to be a reliable and good person.

The company we are coming to work for will be handling the payment after a background check. I will instruct them  to issue the first week payment, so as to secure your service after hearing from you.

I'll be paying you in advance with United state  money orders  which will also be including the funds to pay for our  travel expenses . Once you receive the check, you'll get it cashed or deposit in your bank and wait till he clear next day then  deduct your pay for the first week  payment  and forward the rest balance to the travel agent for all  the traveling expenses. You will send the money to them via western union  so  we can have a good and comfortable preparation before our arrival date which will be 28th  DEC  , 2010.

My friend got a part-time job at The Laugh Factory from craigslist. So there are legit jobs out there.

I did before the spam plague. Now, u don't know what's real and when u find somethin that is legit, the mofo's don't call u back

back then there was less spam. if the ad is generic and doesnt say what company it hiring, i usually skip it. most of the time they just collect your information. i swear i get telemarketers calling me everytime i apply to jobs

yeah, you'd be surprised.. a lot of small companies like to post ads on CL.. i know a few ppl that have gotten jobs through there (nothing career-level, but theyre jobs nonetheless).

yeah, you'd be surprised.. a lot of small companies like to post ads on CL.. i know a few ppl that have gotten jobs through there (nothing career-level, but theyre jobs nonetheless). 
 
one of my roommates got his job off craigslist. legit full time job too.

there are a lot of fake ones though so watch out

Yea, as of 4 months ago. I got my job through a temp agency that was posting for a job on craigslist.
That job I applied for fell though, but the Temp Agency kept my info and got me the job im at now....

so yeah its possible, but b4 this job, I applied to like a thousand Craglist ads

I've gotten two face-2-face interviews, and two phone interviews. One of the phone interviews wants me to go in on the 20th for a face-2-face. The other most likely will call me back.
All in less than 1 week. So yes it is possible.

I did. I work at a law firm. Been here for 4 years now. Best job Ive ever had. Make sure you have a resume ready to send out (PDF format).

Not jobs couple Interviews here and there....I had one for Starbucks...and completley failed the interview fml
