Anyone here IT Guys?

Hey NT, i'm looking into the IT field for a future career and i was actually on planning on joining the Air Force to get schooling for it. Do employers in this field look for a degree or experience? I know in the Air Force i won't be getting a bachelors degree in the field but i will get all the schooling for it as well as certification and experience. Should i pursue the military path or go back to school and get a bachelors degree in computer science or network engineering specifically pursuing network administration. Any specific classes i should focus on while in college? Any comments and tips are welcome, thanks.

I always think school is the better option.  However, make sure you know what you're getting into.  Computer science or any kind of engineering is hard and takes a lot of work and time.  You have to be reasonably good at math for any kind of engineering job.

. What should i be watching on youtube?

school will cost you money , you finish school and owe them alot of money , and the job you want you need at least 5 years experience , how you gonna get the experience ?

and AIRFORCE youll be in the desert with sand people , 140 degreez  and most people come back crazy or suicidal and some with 1 arm or 1 leg missing

youve taken the SATs right ? math section is easier with a TI86 and the formulas and now you can browse internet and use WOLFRAM and ACE  it , so whats the point of doing any classwork when you dont need it

Man I wish I got all my qualifications through YouTube learning would of been easier - But to be honest I wish i chosen a different field from I.T
