Anyone here live in/near Statesboro or Thomasville, Georgia?

I'm going to be visiting a couple relatives next week who stay there, and never heard of these places before. How are places for shoes there? Many sneakerheads? Dead/live city?

What's there to do, in general?

I live in Statesboro, ( Georgia Southern University )
no places for shoes, we gotta a "mall" with three lame stores, best to buy your stuff online.

Theres not much to do, its a college town though so theres your various house partys and what not.
