Well, as most already know here, I'm about to graduate in May of this year and currently work in one of Washington DC's lowest/poorest hospitals. For those in the DMV know where I am talking about, but the name of the hospital is called "United Medical Center" A.K.A Greater Southeast hospital. I work in the Dietary department and I am going through massive hell with people in there. I honestly think they are intimidated on how I carry myself. I speak proper, don't use profanity, and obviously on the verge of Getting my under grad degree. I work with a bunch of ghetto/uncivilized people. It's frustrating because it seems like to be "accepted" in that environment you have to be a thug, pump dope, speak like you never read a book in their lives, and other things that fall under the ignorant category. It seems like my views and morals are looked down upon/shut down. I will admit that I'm kind if the quiet type and don't really say to much, but I also think that plays a big role on why people do that. My question is, are anyone in this situation or have been in this situation? If you have, how did you handle the situation?

If you crying now with min wage cats causing stress...you definitely won't survive in corporate dog eat dog deadline world where your villains carry themselves just like you say you do and you have to be smart just to see them coming . Grow some balls...and get thicker skin.
