ANYONE KNOW OF ANY GOOD PLACES TO FIX YOUR PS3??

Recently my PS3 would not load the discs anymore. I found out that alot of PS3's have problems with the blu ray laser breaking which causes this. I'velocated a place near staples center, on craigslist and he charges $110 for the service, but he apparently works out of his home, so I dont know how legit itis. Anyone have the same problem, any solutions?? Thanks!

I had a similar problem but with a PS2, it would not load games or movies. I opened it up and cleaned the laser which solved the problem. That may be theproblem on your ps3. You should give it a try before spending money to have it fixed.

Yah, about a couple months past the warranty....it costs $150 to fix it through Sony.

for the extra $40 i would just send it to sony and have the peace of mind.
