Primitive is owned by pro skateboarder Paul Rodriguez if I remember correctly. Bowie knows is a word play on the 90s phrase that Nike had for Bo Jackson, which is "Bo Knows". The thing is, I don't know who Bowie is in this case. Maybe someone else knows.
