It seems that it would be more cost efficient than an apartment and you'd be able to take your house with you on vacations or emergencies?

*sigh* random summer travel though

my dads friend bought one and traveled the continent for a full year... he said it was one of the best things hes ever done.

We just bought it back in october and here in Seattle the winter weather wasn't very favorable. It is a bit of a fixer though, so we are trying to get it ready for this summer. It's going down though.

Here is a pic:

This is just ghetto. Don't go buying and living in a RV son. Fixed housing. It'd be cool if you and a few friends wanted to get one and roam the country or something, but permanent living in it...that's just scrubby.

my cousin lived with his girlfriend and they recently broke up and hes a different guy(minimalist, vegan, health nut), but he bought a small RV and lives on the beach now only having to move every 3 days and he rides his bike everywhere else, he said its the best thing that he's ever done

I wouldnt mind living in an rv for a few years to save up for a fat down payment on a house

Does a trailer count? I know a lot of people in those.
Like they bought a trailer and live in that instead of a dorm or an apartment.

This guy I work with has one. I think his family bought if for him when he went to school.
It's just him and his girl and he seems to like it. It was a lot easier when it was just him because she take up too much closet space.
