I lol'd at the Governator scene. IMO the movie wasn't all that great. It didn't live up to my expectations after everyone hyping it up.

Edit: I agree with bright nikes about the message of the movie.

This movie just isn't about the world coming to an end, they threw in some heart touching moments in which make you really think.

No matter how many bridges you burn, there is always time to make things right.

For instance, the dad who turned into a damn superhero neglected his family but did everything in the world to save them.

For the jazz musician's son who he hasn't talked to in years ... he tried to say goodbye but was just too late

My dude Woody, dude was having an orgasm on top of that mountain ... but he didn't give a %!@* because it was bittersweet that he was right on it from the beginning even though everyone doubted him.

I'll be damned if any president does what he did

I liked how a couple of them were at peace though with dying knowing they'd be with their other half when they go into the other life.

I mean it wouldn't have been a disaster movie without
the BS "gushy" mini-plots.
This entire film was engulfed in cliches.
I mean they took no initiative to go in a new direction and the damn world was ending.
Im done with Hollywood.

Saw it last night. Special effects were CRAZY. Storyline was a little bit corny at times, but I liked the movie overall. Started off kind of slow, but afterthe #+%@ hit the fan, it was super intense.

Movie was good but long as hell. I wonder what the budget was cause they definitely got the most out of the CGI than I've ever seen in a movie. The storywas quite cheesy at times with all the side characters and there were a few characters who I thought shouldn't have died but overall it was alright.

This movie is ******ed, even if you melt every ice cap on the planet there is NO WAY, the water levels can raise that high to cover mount Everest. So if youare going to watch this movie leave your brain at the door and enjoy the SFX, that's what i did and had a good time.

They actually waited for everyone to die before they finish the movie

The lines were terrible. The story was quite predictable.
Man, that Curtis guy seems to have all the luck in the world.

Like the others said, the effects were on point.
