I don’t actually want one but the hype/fomo is a real drug. If retail was an option, and it’s not, I would have picked one up just because it’s super cheap by AP standards. I was done when I saw it was a pocket watch, folks gonna be hanging these like labubu’s as a random trophy item which is hilarious because a pocket watch was never something that was meant to be displayed. You pull it out, look at the time and put it away, pause.

It's amazing what hype and a buck will make people do.

With phones and actual watches, why would you even want this?

The hype is crazy. I’m a stones throw from Lenox Mall in Atlanta and it was a mad house the whole night. Hella traffic and activity up the street and trying to get into the mall once you parked. If you paid resell right now you’re a bozo, they’re going to be rolling these out throughout the entire summer, swatch has wild supply numbers. I’m almost ashamed for wasting my time on a Swatch Watch. People don’t even realize the watch has nothing to do with AP’s engineering standards, they just slapped their initials on a cheaper branded watch and called it a day.

Every 2 to 5 years new buyers & resellers enter the mix

+ the ones before tend to stay around sometimes

If I could walk into a store today and purchase the yellow, teal, and pink I would. That is a fun color. Zero chance I am paying resell and no way am I messing with a full on riot to get it.
