Apple Itunes SCAM

Anyone been caught by this yet?  Someone charges your account with small purchases that show up as APL*ITUNES 866-712-7753 CA , for small amounts to check the legitimacy of the account, then they hit you with a larger charge down the road.  I've had this happen last week and 3 more charges two days ago.

this happened to me but luckily my bank caught it... wasn't iTunes though it was some book company...a good lesson to ALWAYS check your bank account statements...

I believe they got my info from the Monoprice.com incident that happened a month or so ago.

It happened to my boy. He had to close out his checking account and get a new account.

Ive never done business with itunes, its just people that get a hold of your acct info and make a small purchase to check the status of an account, then use that account to make a larger purchase.

Had to have my CC closed
