Yo to the person who suggested bodyguard screen protector have you dropped or bang your phone yet? I want to sell this otter box and cop one

So Sprint 6+ are 4/6 weeks out if you order online?

This is still tripping me out. I mean why do they not have enough built to sale millions instantly and have them ready to ship in a timely manner. Only i6 gold will be deliverable by 9/19

Within a couple hours on sprint.com the 6+ was already delayed 3 weeks. I'm just going to try my luck in stores on the 19th. I just don't see how stores wouldn't get at least some 6+ to sell the day of... Right?

Right man. I mean I'm hearing they've had 16-20 million preorders but yo, didn't they expect something like this.

I'll be an i6+ owner when I can go IN TO the store, pick the spaceGrey, pay for it, and leave with it. I'm not paying and waiting on nothing.

This is great and all but I think the real disappointment for me is how much competitors are killing all that above.

The Note 4 is a beast. But let's say you are old and you aren't going to use 90% of the extra features you get in a Note 4 and Android over iPhone and iOs.

Fundamentally, for core things that matter, the Note 4 is still a far better product:

-Battery life and core design. The Note 4 battery is ridiculous at 330 MAH and replaceable! I can't put into words how valuable it is to have a replaceable battery. For $40, I get a fresh new battery that I can carry with me and never have to worry about dying. Priceless for a guy who travels a lot and does the outdoors a lot. Also, after a year, battery juice and retention dies, with Samsungs, it's an easy swap for a brand new battery.

-Expandable memory. Memory these days is cheap. Apple rapes you to force you to buy memory configurations where with Samsung allows you to customize how much memory you need at the most advantageous price points as a consumer.

-Multitasking. The Note 4 has 3x the RAM apple does. You can have multiple windows open and functioning at the same time. I don't think this is excessive at all. Something as simple as having google maps open with a separate text window open to give directions without having to flip between apps. I do stuff like that frequently.

There will always be a debate as to what people like more, iOS or android, so it's pointless to go into that. But when it comes to core fundamental value, like battery life, memory, and multitasking, why can't Apple do the above?

The irony of it all is that I'm using my upgrade to get a 6+. Why? So I can resell it at a higher margin to allow me to buy a Note 4.

You're absolutely right about all of that, but for me i prefer iOS, love FaceTime and iTunes. Reason why I stay with Apple despite not having expandable memory and replaceable battery.

mer

i had the iphone 5.. jumping ship to the note 4.. maybe the note edge depending how it looks in person. whats annoying is that apple couldnt really step it up.
8 MP CAMERA(note 1 had 8mp 4 yrs ago)?? how can they release a front facing camera with 1.2 mp.. or only 1gb of ram when its closest competitor has 3gb of ram. they give us a 5.5 inch screen wtih only a 2915 mAh battery??? Its going to drain really fast..

some specs from the note 1 and 2 are on the iphone 6+ but apple feeds us crap like its the best thing in the world. smh

Why would a screen protector kill your battery?

^I know spigen cases come with screen protectors unless they stop doing it. That was the best thing than the actual case. :lol Best screen protector I've ever used, crappy quality case though.

So with T Mobile you just pay a small amount for the phone monthly on top of your plan you have??

pretty much.. most carriers have this now.. im on att and i was paying 37 a month for my 5s.. and when getting the 128GB 6 plus ima be paying 47 extra a month on my monthly bill.. only a 10 buck difference from my 5s

didnt know that, whats better tho..to do monthly payments on top of your plan or sign a two year contract? are they essentially the same thing?

doesn't that kill your battery?

You lost me fam

I think what I'm going to do is this, I've got 5 lines but 2 are in my possession. I'm going to upgrade both, one 6+ 16gb and the 2nd will be the 164gb 6+.

I'm going to sell the 6+ 164gb for as much as I can without opening it, and use the 6+ 16gb for my personal and then sale my 5 I have now that I won't need.

I should come out a out $800-$1000 ahead and a brand new 6+.

I'm only @ like 7gb used on my current 5

Anyone on here didn't pre-order and is planning to line up at an Apple in NYC for the phone?

SPRINT is trash here in the bay area. TMO is good here. if Tmobile is pretty good in your area, it will be the best value IMO.

$100 for 4 lines, all with data unlimited everything 2GB data each line, unlimited but slows after, was tough to beat.

and just been a sucker for GSM networks.

Think about it like this:

Unlimited data on one line is $90 a month with JUMP! insurance. If you qualify for 0 down payment, the the iphone 6 is an additional $27 a month. Your monthly bill is going to be in the $130 range.

Here's the nice part: when 1/2 of your phone is paid off (if you make minimum monthly payments, will take 12 months), you can trade in your phone, T-Mobile will pay the other half of the phone, and you can upgrade to the 6s or 6+S (or whatever they call them). Then, repeat over and over again. You will always have the newest iPhone that way

Ya where I live and work AT&T is the goods easily. I just hope they have some phones at my AT&T store.
