Okay so I've been having a lot of trouble finding a new job ever since I switched majors from EE to MIS.
I see a lot of positions for my new major but they're actually careers instead of co-ops and interns. I have 3 more semesters left until I graduate, and I see this job that's perfect for what I want to do. Only issue is that I believe it's more of a full time career type of position.
Looking through the responsibilities and I already know how to do everything it asks for, and there isn't a requirements section so no mention of required degree.
My question is should I just go ahead and apply for this position and see what happens? Another question is people who graduated with MIS or still in school pursuing the degree. Where are you guys working/applying for?
I see a lot of positions in the DC area working for the CIA but relocating is one of the last things I want to do right, when I graduate that's fine but until then I'd much rather find a place close to home
