I'm in the midst of applying for big company jobs.

I always wondered if anyone actually pastes their Cover Letter in the Text Box.

Before I thought, I might as well just include it with my resume, but I'm thinking, do Human Resource folks use software to prescreen and search for key words pasted in the Text Box?

Does anyone know what I'm talking about?

Although there is a high chance that nobody will read your letter, I would include one if asked.
If possible, make sure you address it to a specific HR employee..."To who you may concern" and "HR Hiring Manager" will not look as good as the kids who are name dropping HR connects.

At the end of the day, if your resume is tight....you should land an interview.
