I've been wanting to get a new fish tank for the kids. But there isn't any space in the house.

My daughter has been asking about her fish too =(

In
Fish tank is my next purchase

gotta do some research, I know nothing

In. been wanting to do a nano or micro with an axolotl for a minute.

I’m on this channel every day

we have a small fish tank that is empty right now because we moved but we put fish in there that we catch from local streams. we had some swordtails like in the pic below but my son likes to catch plecos and the first one is a good sized bristlenose that he scooped up and the second is a regular one that i caught with my hands in a small creek
we let em go though.

Scooped up a 50 gallon tank with lights, heater and filter a few years ago during Black Friday. Been sitting in my storage. Hope to busy it out later this year if I get a pad.

Damn, that's a big pleco!

I remember when that was the only fish I had in my 10 gallon and didn't realize how big it grew in a short amount of time.

Then I learned it was territorial and was attacking my goldfish lmao. Had too small of a tank, but didn't think that would happen.

u think fish can hear music?

Yea but they hear differently than we do.

They have two ears but they're located inside their body.

My understanding is that fish experience sound more as internal vibrations in their bones than as audible "noise".

In theory loud music could be super stressful for them, but I be slapping my **** with some decent equipment and they don't seem bothered. 😂

I got a 46 gallon bowfront I've had set up for like 10years. Last few months the 3 African Cichlids I had on there died...I cleaned the tank out and got rid of the sand...currently have it filled with nothing in it. Tested the water and it's ready for more fish...figuring out what substrate I want first, then deciding on fish.

Kinda wanna get some firemouth cichlids, but part of me wants to make it a community tank.

I had a bunch of tanks back in the day. Kept South American cichlids and had some other random stuff like a Lima shovelnose, bunch of polypterus.

then I switched over to African cichlids and kept frontosas and peacocks. Then I moved and sold all my fish. :lol

I’d like to set up a big tank one day like 500g or so with peacock bass and rays but I don’t have the house for that now.

Those first ones look cool but that last ones looks gross :lol he’s brave for touching that with his hands

Pecos (the gross fish) are dope. They are tanks, you can throw them in with anything and they will survive and chase it off.

they eat like horse though and poop like them too. :lol they eat wood so if you keep one you need a big tank and some wood in it for decoration.

dope :hat

have you ever kept freshwater or did you go straight to salt?

A little reef tank would be dope.
