Anyone living in Humboldt county or going to HSU/CR?

I just moved over here and was wondering if there were any NTers around here.

I'll be a returning junior at HSU this fall and living in Arcata. Practically no NTers around.

It's a definite change of pace coming from SF but it's great if you like the slow pace and trees...

..I mean redwoods of course.

Since I already have a place with all my stuff up there, I won't be back til school starts. I'm curious as to why Humboldt?

I was living in redding, and HSU is a good school for both my major (anthropology) and my girlfriend's major (wildlife conservation), so we moved overhere.

It's just a gorgeous place to live, and it's a chill community.
