Are Air Jordan V's prone to paint cracking with wear?

Yes. I havent seen them flake really bad, but both my grapes and my olives have hairline cracks in major flexpoints of the midsole.

Those^^ are easy to repaint. V's don't crack/peel as easy as the III's, IV's, VIII's.

ok i need help i just wore my jordan 5 grapes "FOR THE FIRST TIME" and they are ALLLLLL cracking and peeling??? and I'm so pissed of i need to no whyyy 
here is a picture and its on the sides a little too and keep in mind this is after only ONE WEAR???????????!?!??!?!?!??

all the peeling is minor and barely noticeable a little paint won't hurt

Yup. My olive v's from 06 are cracking/peeling in the paint.

Cracks on V's? havent had a problem just paint fading or scuffs has been the problem for me.

5's are good money. Be careful with a lot of wears on the older joints though.
