Yes, they can. Also they all show up on the bill to verify that you sent them. Also, the police can contact your cell service and request all yourtranscripts...nothing electronic is safe i learned that the hard way.

They can't get text messages...

I've been working in cell phones for 2 years and have NEVER been or seen anyone be able to get "transcripts" of old texts.
