Are rims unprofessional?

A lot of people say if you have rims that makes you a goon/thug. But I see whites with rims, usually some simple 18's but still. I'm asking cause istarted to throw some on my whip but I just started a new gig and really don't want the extra "attention". What yall think? Do you have rims orwork with anyone who does? Is it really considered unprofessional or just not accepted in corporate America?

My point exactly...I never saw them as "childish" until I started having to suit and tie it everyday smh.

naw fam it aint. i used to be a real jack $#! I had big $#! 20s on my Avalon back in like 03 when i first got into college and was working in a corporate job.I was bad tho I would park it right up front so they could see me and all my splendor. I aint care cause i was 18 making crazy money. I will say this most thepeople who opinion of you will mater at work will drive a high end luxury car that willl crush ur whip anyway so ur rims will prolly go unnoticed. I will saythis dont park in the front dont show up with the music on blast at the beggining of ur shift ether. Matter of fact my boss now makes well over 200k and thecar he drives the most is a bmw 650 with black rims and chrome lip. and he a middle aged white dude. So go for yours my brother

all depends on how you do it. sometimes it looks straight fugly. other times it looks straight fire.

If it looks good, do it. 18's should be fine. But besides that leave the volume and bass low when you drive in and you should be good.

they don't buy cars, they lease them. when a new car is out they return the car and get a new one.
