Are there any big issues with gateway laptops?

While looking for a laptop and in my search I came acrossthis

it has everything I want on a laptop

a
P8600 core 2 duo
15 inch screen
big HDD
and a graphics card


This issue is are there any issues with Gateway laptops besides theusual Computer issue thats on every laptop?

its 700 and Im looking around.

Gateway used to be nice in the 90s but lately I haven't heard about them. SO I'm asking around how their products are.

I haven't owned a Gateway since they came in cow-spotted boxes, but I've heard the quality has really declined. Go for a Dell, Lenovo, or HP.
