B. I wasn't saying the team hated him and was trying to leave him, I'm saying the media hates him. He almost missed the game? How? How is almostmissing the buses the same as almost missing the game? He couldn't have driven there himself? He couldn't have booked his own flight? He did notalmost miss game 7.
Obviously the image of Artest in boxers running after a bus full of team sponsors is very funny, but to imply that he could have missed the game is a hugestretch.

1) there's a reason the rockets didn't make signing artest a priority this offseason.
2) there's a reason the rockets didn't flinch when artest announced he was going to the lakers.

despite getting to the 2nd round for the first time in more than a decade.

and no, the lakers wanted to keep ariza. ariza and his agent were too dumb so they went to option B. if they had to choose at the same price, the lakers wouldprefer ariza.
