good to see a thread like this up. here are some things i posted on the general forum.
all are pieces from 2 years ago for my senior art show--> AcrylicxCanvas
First time ever painting so it was kind of a hit or miss lol but yeah.
The theme was tattoos so they're all based on quotes or concepts...

first acrylic painting ever and for hte show. basic intro i guess you can say

sorry for the big pictures.. i just started working on another piece on a 30x40 canvas with acrylics again.
i kind of want to test out oils but when i get the money and courage haha =]]
here's a sketch

its just a preliminary sketch but i've actually put it all on the canvas and whatnot, dimensions and stuff changed but that's expected.
it's pretty much just about myself and the phases i've gone through--> smaller mannekins and who i'll become or am becoming [main]
not sure what to do with the open space, my friend suggested maybe a trainstation type of scene "movement"
what do ya'll think? a lot of the outfits will contain some purple in it so yaeh

Thanks c4, the city is Boston btw. I took a look at your sneakers on canvas pics and your stuff is extremely sick. I've never been a fan of the
whole Dave White, painting of a sneaker thing but your Jordan 5 and concord paintings made me re-think this.
Kid Zero Nine are you influenced by KAWS? I've been messing around with some flat acyllics with sponges, etc
since I've become a fan of his.

FlawlessV, i like KAWS work yea, but not really influenced by him.
i'd have to say i'm mostly influenced by John Krisfaluci and Alex Pardee to some extent.
my favorite artist list is too long to put here hah

thanks Smedroc..just takes alot of patience and practice, plus i love drawing/painting..just seems natural to me
