Aston Martin really needs to release more of their cars in red, this thing is just incredible.
The red suede interior is something to drool over too.
Aston Martin V12 Vantage
In a move presumably aimed at teenage Russian billionaires and itinerant trustafarians everywhere, Aston Martin has taken the unusual move of unveilingpictures of its new V12 Vantage on Facebook. Based on the standard V8 Vantage, Aston's engineers have shoehorned a 5.9litre 510bhp V12 under the carbonfibre bonnet. The extra weight of the larger engine is partially offset by features such as lighter rear wings and optional lightweight seats. Meaning the V12Vantage tips the scales at just 50kg more than its V8 sibling.
The new bonnet features extra scoops for the increased cooling needs of the more powerful V12 which lends the Vantage an aggressive, functional look. With aclaimed top speed of 190mph and a 0-62mph time of just over 4 seconds the production V12 is not quite as scary as the RS concept car shown last year butit's still more than enough to need those carbon ceramic brakes. Look out for it coming up close in your rear view mirrors all over Europe and the rest ofthe World but not the United States - that stuffed-to-bursting front end has problems passing the US crash tests, apparently.
