today I go to AT&T.com to check my bill that is $100 but it says I owe $500. I think it is because of my brothers iphone but he alwayes used wifi not 3G.Is there anyway to get out of this?

My ex works for AT&T I asked him and he said if you call a Representative and opt to take the $30/month unlimited internet, they'll take the chargesoff your bill. Then, you can cancel the $30 internet plan the following month if you don't want to keep it.

and like KL9 said, why would they charge you for wifi? You're brother has probably been buying a lot of games/apps for the Iphone. Check his part of thebill and see the itemized list of what you were charged for. It should tell you exactly where they charges came in.

it is the data charges but i dont understand he used the internet on a wifi connection only because if you turn wifi off it says he has no dataplan

I remember I thought I had unlimited txting when I didnt my bill was like 3gs. Called a rep, told her my situtation, she said she'll take off all thecharges if I put unlimited txt on my plan and that was that

Purchases from the iTunes & App store don't come on your monthly bill that a seperate thing. And if you don't have a data plan, you still use datait's only at a rate of 1 cent per kilobyte. That my not seem like much but trust me it adds up. How you think they get people to pay $30 month just forInternet. All you need to do I call them up and add the data plan that should do it. If that don't work call again and again till sone one give you whatyou want.

Called today and she says they do charge for wifi and she said the only thing she can do is set up a case to maybe get some money waived and itwill take 2-3 weeks.
Its ******ed to get charged for using your own internet at home through wifi
