What obligations do NBA, NFL etc players have in their contracts? I know they have to do them we are the world events with kids and such. Also, do they HAVE to talk to sports newspapers after games etc?

They have obligations to speak to the media. Most of them have to talk after every game and at least once during the week. Plus, some might have TV/radio show appearances.

Pretty sure they have to speak to media. I remember Gil tried skipping out on all interviews & ended up getting fined.
