What happened: The victim, identified as Peter Chan, was reportedly waiting for his wife in a parked 2023 Toyota Highlander SUV when two men on a motorcycle pulled up to his vehicle on 3rd and Cambridge Sts. just before 10 p.m. on Thursday. The suspects reportedly pulled Chan out of his new car and beat him up. One of the suspects was able to drive away in the SUV, while the other took off on the motorcycle.

A MAN ACCUSED in the murder and robbery of a 75-year-old Asian man in Oakland, California, in 2021 was found guilty last week.
Background: Teaunte Bailey, 28, was one of two men arrested and charged in connection with the incident, which took place at the intersection of Jayne Avenue and Perkins Street near Lake Merritt on March 9, 2021. The elderly victim, identified as Pak Ho, was out for his morning walk when Bailey punched him, stole his valuables and fled in a getaway vehicle.
Ho fell and struck his head on the concrete after the brutal punch. He suffered a brain injury that took his life two days later.

ANOTHER ELDERLY ASIAN couple fell victim to a home invasion robbery in south Seattle this week.
What happened: A group of five young, male suspects showed up at the couple’s home at around 5 a.m. on Thursday, according to police. They allegedly woke the couple and demanded money while holding them at gunpoint.
What the victims are saying: The suspects allegedly held the gun to the male victim’s head. Images obtained by KOMO News show they also broke a door and ransacked the house.
“They push my husband into the corner and put a gun to his head. They kept asking me, ‘Where is the money, where is the money?’ And I said I don’t have any money, I am old and retired,” the male victim’s wife recalled to KOMO News.

What happened: Danxin Shi, a rideshare driver, had just parked his car in front of his apartment on West 22nd Place when three women reportedly chased after him before physically attacking him at around 5:30 p.m. Surveillance footage of the incident shows one of the women hitting Shi with what appears to be a pipe as he lies on the ground.

JOSEPH HARRELL, A 17-year-old teen who was arrested in connection to a violent robbery in Houston, Texas, that left a Vietnamese mother paralyzed, was sentenced to three decades in prison.

Harrell’s sentence: On Thursday, Harris County District Court Judge Kristin M. Guiney sentenced Harrell to 30 years in a state correctional facility after he pleaded guilty to one count of aggravated robbery causing serious bodily injury to 41-year-old Nhung Troung.
In a plea deal, Harrell agreed to plead guilty to the robbery charge. In return, prosecutors agreed to dismiss two other charges related to the robbery, including an initial charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

they have no leads or clue where the parents (or their remains) are :frown: rich yt nepo kid out here thinking its sweet to be a felon/murderer
 
Sad stories all around :smh:

Been reading on the the first story more and the wife was wanting a divorce years before her murder. She was afraid of losing her 3 sons due to the yt husband's affluent Hollywood family.

Some people just cannot accept being told no, or having things their way all the time. It's also sad her parents are presumed to be killed in this case too.
