I am working on a startup that provides a website for sneaker purchases between buyers and sellers (similar to EBay's business model). The website provides buyers security and comfort in knowing that their sneaker purchase from a private seller is authentic. The mechanism to provide authenticity is still in the works - hence why I started this thread. Would you be comfortable with your purchase being authentic if:
There is a voting system to determine whether a shoe is fake or not? The “yes” or “no” response on a shoe’s authenticity is provided by NikeTalk users looking at detailed pictures. Only NikeTalk users that meet a specific reputation criteria can vote. (Reputation is greater than a certain amount of posts, years being a member)
