Auto Heads.....3m Di-Noc carbon fiber yay or nay???

I am getting bored of my interior so I did a little research on carbon fibers and stumbled upon a 3m cf vinyl wrap.  So far from the vids it looks clean, but I am wondering if this is even worth my effort?  Is it durable?  Can you put resin on it?  I have seen some other products and claim they are more durable, shinier, etc but are they superior to 3m?
