I have a felony conviction along with a few misdemeanors as well...
Moved to cali, caught a felony charge, they ran me and nothing came back.
(This has happened twice with 2 potential F charges)
Police, jobs and apartments all differ when doing background checks.
Police search for past convictions.
Jobs normally only do state-wide background checks unless its corporate.
Apartments check credit and evictions and even sometimes criminal history.

I don't think most jobs honestly check or care about misdemeanors. I got a few class A's and a couple B's and I work corporate for a former fortune company.
On top of that, I hired 3 ppl that I KNEW had misdemeanors since I been there. Fired 2 of em

It will most likely show up because most companies go back and look past 7 yrs.
Bigger corporations can look up past 10 yrs criminal background.
But its just a misdemeanor. You should be ok. If it was a felony, thats a different story. The big F can bar you from alot of jobs.
