My cousin and her friend have invited me to go with them to go to Europe (Spain,France,Italy,Germany,Switzerland,). Plane ticket around 700 bucks plus expenses for staying in hostels, transportation ,attractions ,food, etc. Not too sure if I should go though because I would be leaving my job for a month and will be also spending lots of money. Anyways is a trip to Europe really worth going broke ( and passing on the XIII

I know it's popular and all, but backpacking through EU sounds like hell to me. It's probably different for the folks who live over there, but I can think of plenty of things I'd rather do for a few months. Like backpack my way to Amsterdam and stay there. Or hang out on a tropical beach.

Depends on what you value. You wont always have the chance to go to Europe and backpack through it. But a job will always be available at some point in your life. . REALLY? buying a pair of shoes is a higher priority then traveling?

hahaha I was just kidding about the XIII will most likely cop anyways. Yea I'm not too sure. I was planning on going to Cali/Vegas this summer and I'm sure that would be somewhat cheaper than going to Europe for a month.

i had the chance to backpack through europe two summers ago, and its something that ill never forget.
to me, its a more valuable and worthwhile experience than making a months worth of money at your work...
you may never have this opportunity again, so I say you gotta go.
that is, if the expenses dont totally kill your savings

make sure you prepare wisely. there's a movie called hostel that should give you great tips on your adventure.
