Lost In Translation
A buddy recently sent me these photos of restaurants with, shall we say, "odd" name choices. Even if some of them are a Photoshop Special, I still think they're hysterical.

Bad names come from one of three places. First, you have people with a sick and twisted sense of humor (yours truly included), who think a name like Beaver Liquors is a perfectly acceptable moniker for a booze store. Then there are those who innocently pick a name like Pump N Much, visualizing nothing more than a family man grabbing a bag of Cheetos and fountain soda after filling up the trusty Ford Windstar. Lastly, we have bad translations. I'm often amazed at what signs in airports, government centers and restaurants choose as fitting English translations. God bless 'em, because stuff like this makes my day.

Without further ado, here are 18 more places with unappetizing names.

This is an actual restaurant in NYC (Chinatown, Mott St. and Canal St.). They're actually famous for their duck so anyone who's in themood for Chinese should definitely check it out. If you're a vegetarian (like me), go down Mott St. to Buddha Bodai instead.
