Don’t see the point of it

I’ve seen other tracking devices that can track shooting %s and stuff. I can see value in that and it’s cheap. I think the shooting gun is great which is apples and oranges but I believe it can also track makes/misses, not sure though

it could work in a certain context but for regular joe…nah. for a high end training facility or even direct to like amusement parks or such

depending on the fee & what it includes, i wouldn’t mind…i’d imagine the installation, calibration, repairs, & updates would run up the cost too

maybe not but it could have some ancillary use for shot tracking data, or for keying drills; it would be kinda overkill/unnecessary but i could see some use cases…any one here ever use the homecourt app, it’s got some cool features & integrated drills that use image tracking that could definitely be fun in something like this integrated backboard screen

Playing putout remotely sounds like it could be fun. They could curate events themselves on the app too to encourage that kind or interaction as well; shooting contests, upload your best trick shot, etc.

Most people also don’t typically have a loft style, rustic retired warehouse type apartment. I actually looked at one a few months ago, had like a 25 foot ceiling in the living room. Pre kids me who still hooped would have rented and not gave a damn about the rest of the house being able to play in my house used to be a dream, but for 2022 dad me itdidnt have enough defined spaces and noticed like most places they use rustic and charming as an excuse for old and dirty

Its interesting I am also iffy on how well the screen is going to hold up with all the bricking ****** be doing. They need to shoot for some big time endorsements or partnerships

The kids at my gym are absolute garbage. They chose to play with an under-inflated evo ball because it was an evo. When you dropped it, it literally bounced just below your knees. They said the Wilson NBA ball I have was too hard and heavy.
