Basketball Thread About Nothing

Bron should try to end his legendary career in legendary fashion. LA has nice weather, Luka, and that’s all. With Luka even, they’d still be asking too much of him while being another year older.

Cleveland soft and led by perennial postseason duds so not them either.

Bron should go head and retire. He's already showed he's an all-time great. His heart is elsewhere now. He seems to be more excited about doing analysis or playing golf or really anything else. Spending time with his family. Making movies. Whatever. Leave on your own terms on Monday night.

He definitely is looking forward to all of that nowadays. And understandably so. He still wants all the basketball glory upon his exit. Who wouldn’t? He’s also definitely getting a well publicized farewell tour because he’s that type of guy.

His heart may be elsewhere as you say but his output on the court is still elite. Alls I’m advocating for is yet another real chance at winning the title in his ultimate season. Don’t waste it on a team that’s pieces away or not ready to win it all.

Storybook ending stuff that the other 23 didn’t do.

Anyone else paying extra attention for Harden’s fg to turnover ratio?

That career stat is just putrid for an all time great.

Officer Jimmy did not disappoint (unless you root for his team)

iHart 🥺

I always remember reports of OJ being an elite athlete in HS and despite posting a 40+ vert in the combine, he always looked just slightly above average at USC and in the L to me. Watched the full game and even though comp was def not athletic, OJ did look hella athletic in HS. Makes me think maybe he gained too much for his frame or something. Also makes me wonder about how good Bill Walker could have been if he didn't go through all those injuries

They heard you talking.

lol you might be right but not tonight! Son was balling but coughed it up again in the biggest moment.

And perhaps Cleveland isn’t so soft at all. Now I kinda wanna see if the lights are still too bright for Allen and Mobley.

If nothing else this is a great audition for some familiar faces.

Not him being as tall or taller than his pops in the 9th grade

He looks really good though. Can finish with one hand, has at least 2 speeds and a good pace, and the handles look complete. He's also got some good defensive highlights in there. Pretty good stuff. Also damn IT musta married the whitest white woman for his son to be that light skinnded. One of those translucent white women
