A friend of mine is planning a morning hike somewhere and we're looking for some suggestions.  Anybody know any / can recommend any trails, preferably in marin or the east bay?  Looking fior a moderate level 2-3 hour hike.

Thank you all for the suggestions, but we ended up hiking some trail near stinson beach. http://www.bahiker.com/northbayhikes/stinson.html
It was a cool 7 mile hike, would recommend to others.  The weather was great, not too hot or cold.

agreed, mission peak in fremont is a great trail and awesome bay views.
