Hey, my sister is turning 15 and has hinted at wanting to DJ and make beats. What is a good beginner set for a kid and what equipment is needed?

she's gonna eventually have to invest in some type of computer assistance and learn it anyways
its kinda like saying kids today should learn the to use the typewriter before Microsoft word to truly appreciate the art of writing - and this is coming from someone who learned on my fathers 20+ year old 1200s and dusty record collection before moving onto serato![]()
i hate those controller things so would say turntables, mixer and serato ....but its a decent size investment for something that she might not even like tho

but just like everything else its evolving and the younger generations will have it easier than the older
