Because to some, when wearing the hat frontwards, it looks dumb to leave the brim completely flat.
I give most of my hats a slight/medium bend, they look stupid on me if it's flat.

Looks better than people who leave them 100% flat with all the stickers on and such.
I bend them slightly, like the pic he posted above me, I remember back in the day when the bend of the hat was super important.
