Best Desktop Computer

A little outside your range but figured it'd be good to get the word out anyways...

Woot

ANY desktop these days can do office and web browsing with ease.

you do NOT need an i5 processor and will likely not notice a difference vs. the lowest i3. save yourself some money and buy a desktop with last year's i3.

and you don't need a graphics card unless you're planning on doing some gaming.  intel's onboard graphics will work fine for movies/youtube.

my advice would be build your own computer. I made mine, costed around 900$. I made many comparisons with the specs with other computers in store, saved around 800$

You don't even need to build your own - I went to a local computer place and chose what I wanted and they put it together for an extra $75. It's been fantastic - it has a spec similar to yours but it was about 18 months ago and I paid about $1000 altogether.

You make no sense. If you dont like all in ones why did you buy one, and why would you suggest one even though you didn't buy it from Costco?
