Mean Streets (1973), also by Martin Scorsese, has a scene shot like that.
Great movie. Check it out! Kinda a gangster movie, kinda not - otherwise I would have brought it up before now. I prefer it over Goodfellas!

Voted Godfather 1, but Casino is my personal favorite. I can watch that movie any day, any time, no matter how many times I've seen it. Only thing that irks me about the movie, is how a guy as sharp as Sam could fall for Ginger's BS.

A lot of great movies on that list, but c'mon we all know Godfather is the goat. It's untouchable. Might be the greatest movie ever made.

I also love The Departed, Goodfellas, Heat and Casino.
