I think goo will probably be the best but I noticed someone said use a clam.... in my case im having to glue the whole sole back on and a clamp just doesn't do it... what I found works is tape... in this case some painters tape just reg tape I used the thin kind but I think wide would be easier... I thought about packing tape but its much harder to remove... painters tape just a regular old tape is good.. you can wrap it around till you have it all pushed on good along all the edges... im actually at this point putting a new sole on a pair of imitation crocks I cant part with... I used silicon that you put on tubs first but I didn't leave it long enough.. but after about 3 days it was stuck on pretty good... if youre concerned about the cost of the glue you might go with a big tube of this silicon white tub repair adhesive stuff then use the goo all the way around the outer edge... but the tape works great...
