This past NBA year was a busy and hectic shoe season . What was the shoe of the year?
There are so many amazing designs and tech to choose from .
Not to mention soo many amazing talents killing the courts.
This shoe year reminded me of 95 with all the budding new tech and designs, I feel next year something insane maybe on the equivalent of Jordan 11 special might happen next season shoe wise.
Id have to say Adidas did an amazing job, but the artsy , out of wack look can take its toll, like a slanted masterpiece picture. its still slanted., Under Armour slipped up with a bulky outdated 2003 design, um makes me think Iverson is in his prime and and 1 is on espn lol , but looks to bounce strong back with the Curry4 ...the Jordan 31 my shoe of the year.
The reason why is trendsetting tech . The Achilles pillows are heavenly , the inner booty adds to a great stable factor.
my toes can move but they don't slide. major key!
the wide toe box for comfort and the slender heel is beyond sick. not to mention the cushion system looks like a space shoe very solid.
But to me the 31 (variants) included set the tone to me for comfort, traction questionable depending on surface and particulates .Overall the 31 feels like a futuristic shoe . Something the star trek fleet could wear . soft riding. sleek futuristic yet an ode to the past .this shoe is a super classic ready to be acknowledged in next few years.
look sick in jeans and shorts, I can go on and on .
I have one pair thus far, the royals, but I plan on expanding and attacking outlets once these prices drop a little this summer.
the westbrook season helps just a little .
